This is a super easy recipe but cooking half of the banana with the porridge makes it taste extra sweet and delicious! It does mean the oats take an extra minute or two to cook but it’s totally worth it.
1 large handful of oats
Hearty glug of milk
1.5 tsps of mixed seeds (I went for pumpkin, sunflower, sesame and golden linseed)
Place half of the banana in a bowl and roughly mash with a fork
Add oats, water and the milk to the bowl and mix into the mashed banana
Microwave for 1.5-2 mins, stir and add more milk and/or water if required before cooking for another 1.5 -2 mins.
Top with slices of the other half of the banana and your seeds then dig in!
